Description:    Sr Underwriter to underwrite Worker’s Compensation business for the A&H (Accident and Health) Group. 

Essential Functions: 

• Underwrite profitable WC business for the A&H Group 

• Ensures underwriting guidelines are being followed 

• Build relationships with brokers and agents, with a focus on premium goals and profitability 



Minimum Qualifications: 

• 5+ years Worker’s Compensation reinsurance underwriting experience 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience – Professional designations preferred 

• Sound working knowledge of A&H products, pricing, contract filing, competition and distribution methodologies 

• Demonstrated background in the business of understanding and placing risk, from a technical underwriting perspective 

• Ability to work independently and with a small working team in an entrepreneurial environment 

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite as well as other business related software
