Description:    Job can be based in Detroit, Atlanta, Raleigh or Ohio 

Provide strategic direction and progressive leadership to achieve sales and profit goals within a region. Design and recommend sales and marketing programs and set sales strategies. This role requires effective management of details and data, lean process creation, supplier relationship management, client development strategies, service expectations, and talent development/recruitment/retention. 

· Develop and administer region’s sales plan that ensure customer satisfaction, assigned quota attainment, good reference accounts, and highly skilled and motivated staff 
· Partner with Marketing 
· Determine annual region sales and gross profit plan 
· Establish sales objectives 
· Project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new product lines and customers 
· Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price 
· Coordinate order service by directing Account Representatives and executives on quotations, proposals, project order management techniques, and customer complaint resolution 
· Establish and adjust selling prices 
· Assist in maintaining the region sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees 
· Maintain sales staff results 
· Forecast and communicate intricate details to senior business managers 

REQUIREMENTS 
· Understanding of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and coordination of people and resources 
· Understanding of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including customer needs assessment and meeting quality standards for services and customer satisfaction evaluation 
· Strong written and verbal communication skills 
· Strong time management and computer skills 
· Ability to demonstrate teamwork, leadership and flexibility 

EXPERIENCE 
· Minimum of 10 years of professional sales experience in related industry (firm is an MRO and OEM product, construction materials, and advanced supply chain management and logistic service). 
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in supervision and management of programs and staff
