REQUIREMENTS 

- 8+ years experience with Voice/VoIP architectures and technologies.
 
- Subject matter expert in Softswitch architectures with a focus on Call Features Server technology.
 
- Experience with Hosted or Premise VoIP architectures relative to voice and data internetworking engineering, network integration, VoIP/data communications protocols, communication architectures and hands-on testing.
 
- Service design and systems integration skills.
 
- Excellent project management experience, excellent communications skills (both verbal and written)
 
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
 

Preferred
 
- Experience with SIP, RTP, IP, HTTP(S), XML or other local-area or wide-area networking products and technologies.
 
- Required detailed knowledge of End Point VoIP deployments including Unified Communications, Call Agent/Feature server and Registrations servers, CPE (Hand Sets, IAD & Routers) and Session Border Controller.
 
- Knowledge of SNMP, Network Management, UNIX, software development and PC communication and configuration experience.
 
- Experience with engineering and design of VoIP applications and associated Data network element interfaces.
 
- Familiarity and knowledge of data networking and how is supports VoIP as an application is desired.
 
- Experience with Broadsoft, Sonus, Acme Packet (Oracle), MetaSwitch, Polycom, Cisco and other VoIP related platforms.
 
- Ability to develop detailed Technical Requirements and RFP documents, perform detailed engineering and design activities, perform and assist in certification activities, as well as deployment and support functions for Data and VoIP network applications and solutions.
 
- Communication skills (especially technical writing skills), and unrelenting customer focus, client need analysis, problem solving, multi tasking, strong interpersonal skills, risk taking, documentation operational issues and solutions, team player, mentoring and transfer of knowledge, project management skills.
 
- Bachelor’s degree in Network, Computer, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Related field
 

Will be responsible for directing and coordinating activities necessary to complete application development projects. Will perform detailed vendor management, engineering work and applied research, development, and support quality assurance testing of new products and technologies. Work includes engineering, design, requirements development, business case development and certification of complex integrated solutions. Use analyzer equipment to evaluate and conduct different types of tests.
