| Description: | Qualifications
6+ years reporting and analytical experience or a minimum of a Masters degree in programs such as applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics or computer sciences with 3+ years directly applicable work experience.
- 4+ years progressive experience with SAS/SQL technology with focus on querying, analyzing and interpreting result
- Advance user of Microsoft Excel, Access, and Visio
- 1+ year experience transforming data using XML
- Ability to work with large data sets
- The ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Strong understanding of financial and internal data controls
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience with Regulatory Reporting (Federal Reserve, OCC, SEC, etc.)
- Experience with the General Ledger and data reconcilement to regulatory reports (e.g. Y9C)
- Experience with credit risk associated with commercial and retail loan products
- 5+ years of experience in financial services industry
Work with internal and external business partners to interpret regulatory reporting requirements and develop effective validation process to ensure compliance with regulatory rules. The position will function as a subject matter expert for reports delivered internally and externally.
