Description: JavaScript required, Sass, GIT, Ruby on Rails, HAML, Postgres, Redis, Puppet, AWS. 

The JavaScript Developer is a key member of the development team. You will be responsible for JavaScript-based UI/UX development and design. Some of the new features the firm will be implementing that you may work on are: social network style features like profiles and network searching, marketing metrics dashboard like graphs showing user adoption and activity, user behavior tracking to log users interaction on the front-end, adding front-end unit/integration tests. 

Responsibilities: 
Hands on prototyping and development of JavaScript user interface using ExtJS MVC Customizing ExtJS themes and/or CSS for a branded look and feel Integrating third party libraries to augment those lacking or inefficient in ExtJS Connecting MVC components to backend to retrieve as well as supply changed data Full cycle UI Development from prototyping to unit testing and maintenance 

Qualifications: 
Solid experience with Javascript UI Development (HTML, AJAX, CSS, JavaScript) required. 
Javascript MV* experience require. ExtJS highly preferred (We may pay for training for the right candidate). 
Experience working with a Designer to create a functional frontend from high fidelity mockups. 
Experience with REST and JSON. 
Ability to quickly and independently pick up new technologies and frameworks and produce prototypes. 
Working with a Ruby on Rails Backend is a plus. 
Ability to clearly communicate ideas and technical decisions. 
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a sense of humor.
