Primary Skills:

Description:    Required

•       Expert level knowledge of the Oracle/Hyperion EPM platform (Planning, Essbase, ODI, SS, Reporting)

•       Advanced level SQL (tables, views, transact-sql), excel, automation (batch, VBA, VBS, etc.)

•       Extensive experience and understanding of complicated systems

•       Possession of highest degree of business acumen

•       B.S Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, or IT discipline, MBA\CPA a plus.

 

Responsibilities:

1.      Serve as the admin for several EPM applications.

2.      Troubleshoot, correct, and develop mitigating solutions for all EPM systems issues

3.      Be able to directly work with other groups such as: internal IT (hardware, network, DBA’s, etc.), as well as external vendors (primarily Oracle) to come up with solutions to issues impacting EPM system performance.

4.      Perform routine user support expeditiously and professionally

5.      Learn new technologies and techniques through whatever means necessary (on-line, books, webinars, etc.) to do the job better and smarter

6.      Act as business analyst to understand customer requirements in order to offer up systemic solutions to a myriad of business problems

7.      Be an enabler of best practices, rigid procedures, and controls

8.      Perform data analysis and creating data mappings, including source, target and transformations.

9.      Defines, analyzes and studies financial and operational issues and data.

10.     Gathers, consolidates, prepares and/or validates data for analysis.

11.     Extensive experience in performing data-driven analysis, creating/executing business cases, developing BRD (Business requirement document), FRD (Functional requirement document), and Test Plan/Cases is a must.

12.     Good knowledge of databases and data warehouses. Hand on experience writing SQL for data analysis.
