Description:   

Customer facing SQL / SSIS analyst for a client that specializes in selling software for the insurance industry.  This person can be based anywhere in the US (near a major airport) and will travel up to 40% of the time.

 

Qualifications required to perform the role

 

Bachelors degree in related discipline, preferrably computer science or engineering

4-6 years Object-Oriented Design and Development experience

4-6 years Development experience in C# .NET 4.0/4.5, Silverlight, WPF, WCF, SQL

Experience with using SSIS/SSDT-BI (2008/2010/2012) for data migration

Experience with database design in MS SQL Server 2008+

Experience with deploying to and troubleshooting IIS and Windows Server

Experience communicating internally and externally with key stakeholders, via both verbal and written communication, in order to build relationships and convey key business issues in a clear and succinct manner

Advanced level skill in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Analysis & Design skills, preferably in Enterprise Application solutions

Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly

Experience with successful problem solving techniques bringing new and innovative ideas to quickly and efficiently solve customer challenges

Experience working successfully with colleagues and customers at all levels globally and in virtual/remote settings

Experience working collaboratively in a project environment with a flexible,  adaptable, team-oriented working style

 

Preferred experience:

Insurance Industry knowledge

Implementation experience

Data Migration experience

LogiXML Info / BI toolsets
