Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Corrosion Engineering or related degree with 8+ years of relevant experience OR a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or related degree with 2-6+ years of relevant experience OR a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or related degree with 0-4+ years of relevant experience

• Knowledge of design/operation/maintenance of stationary equipment

• Knowledge of metallurgy and damage mechanisms

• Broad technical background and knowledge of applicable codes (ASME, API, NACE, etc.)

• Proven problem solving and analytical abilities

• Influence personnel/organizations/networks with whom they have no direct reporting structure

• Exhibit the following Leadership abilities

o Self-starter with minimum supervisor required

o Ability to lead with in a structured organization

o Accepts ownership, is accoun and delivers on commitments

o Establishes priorities and balances short and long term demands

o Has courage to surface and resolve conflicts diplomatically

Preferred Qualifications:

• Six Sigma knowledge

• Process, Materials, Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical background

• Knowledge of risk management, in particular Risk Based Inspection

• Familiar with Process Control Technology principals and PM/PdM principles

• Experience in reliability centered engineering

• Basic knowledge regarding RCA

• Ability to work in an international environment.
