Description:   

This position will be part of a teamresponsible for all aspects of our technical infrastructure in a 24X7 environment. Primary duties include, but are not limited to, support of existing network platforms, advancing current network technologies, managing the integration of new technologies and working with other technical and

business-line leaders in developing enterprise solutions.

 

Responsibilities:

Maintain existing LAN and WAN infrastructure and services, including switches, firewalls and routers for desktop and server support

WAN and LAN design for multi-site

international organization

Review network connectivity and capacity planning by maintaining vendor relationships and maintenance contracts

Propose, design, plan and execute projects for network updates and changes

Work with other network and system administrators to implement network and server projects as both a leader and contributor

Monitor and respond to break-fix incidents for network and server administration including troubleshooting desktop and server connectivity

Prepare standards and maintain documentation and diagrams for network connectivity and security

 

Organize daily tasks independently and prioritize project work with input

 

Skills/Qualifications:

Proven experience in design and implementation of LAN and WAN

Experience supporting B2B and user-based VPN

Security monitoring

5 years’ experience directly related to WAN planning and maintenance

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Must be able to pass a background check
