Description:   

Work closely with Solution Architects and Project Managers to provide leadership and direction with the following:

 

Plan releases, schedule development, and perform initial assessments to provide estimates for proposed development tasks.

Track and report progress of the project against key milestones.

Balance resources with task assignments to insure on-time and high quality delivery of the project.

Keep feature stakeholders updated throughout the development cycle and act as a liaison with relevant parties, including program management, QA, other development teams, production, product support, etc., to facilitate the release process.

Provide coaching, mentoring and support to direct reports in both technical and non-technical issues to ensure high productivity from team members.

Provide support for career growth and personal development of the team.

Facilitate multiple development activities with remote business analysts and system architecture resources to develop applications supporting TE Connectivity PLM IT activities

Lead root-cause analysis, communicate options for resolution and provide recommendations to customer-facing technology problems in a timely manner.

Manage off-shore and remote teams.

Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of application development best practices.

Contribute to process improvement within development organization.Experience

 

REQUIREMENTS

8+ years' experience in enterprise PLM software development.

 

3+ years' experience in leading a software development team.

 

5+ years PLM software implementation, customization, configuration design and development experience.​

 

Passionate about software development and building strong engineering team. Ability to motivate and inspire the team.

Expert knowledge of database modeling and data structure principles, techniques and best practices.

Expert knowledge in building, debugging and maintaining mission critical PLM applications.

Ability to lead PLM software development teams with both technical expert and metrics-based approaches

Strong expertise in software code analysis, requirements development, software review, testing, delivery, operational production support

Experience managing, building and leading strong technical teams

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Enterprise level IT experience in a lead role

 

 

PLUSSES

A master's degree in a technical discipline

Demonstrated expert knowledge Oracle and SQL Database systems

Demonstrated expert knowledge in multiple software development disciplines (i.e. Agile)

Knowledge of commercial Product-Life-Cycle software (i.e. Windchill, Enovia etc)
