Position- front end developer
	Location is Park Ave. South
	$40,000.00 - $50,000.00
	lifestyle, marketing, travel and media company is seeking a Front End Developer to join our technology team. In this position, you will participate in the design and maintenance of websites and work with our team in the development and deployment of e-commerce, marketing and back-office sites. This position is especially attractive for developers looking to expand their skill-set and gain experience with cutting-edge technologies.   Appropriate candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.   L ooking for self-starters who thrive on challenge and have the ability to successfully multi task. In addition to technical and creative savvy, candidates must be motivated, energetic, success-driven individuals. The environment is fast-paced and dynamic, and appropriate candidates must possess the same attributes.    Qualified candidates will have at least 2-4 years experience developing websites with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Some knowledge of Ajax is also desired.   Minimum Qualifications: BS or BA or equivalent work experience At least 2 years experience in web development with HTML, CSS and JavaScript Working knowledge of Ajax Experience with Photoshop   Additional Desired Skills: Some experience with Java Some experience with XML Some experience with SQL Good creative eye Good communication skills Ability to perform in pressure and time sensitive situations Ability to work and contribute in team environment Ability to perform in self directed environment Strong initiative Experience working with programmers
