TITLE:  Apps Support Manager (LIQ)

SALARY:  Commensurate with Experience

DESCRIPTION:  As part of the Business Application Group, the Loan IQ Application Manager is responsible for coordinating support of the Loan IQ product, a commercial loan trading and syndication application developed by Misys Wholesale Banking Systems in both EMEA and North America.  This position manages technical staff who provide front line technical and processing support for the loan IQ application and related operational reports.  The LIQ Application Manager is instrumental in gathering requirements from senior business managers and directive the development, testing efforts, and implementation for both business application and data center operations staff.  The Loan IQ Application manager, managing the direction of the LIQ application support  team, developing overall project time frames and priorities for enhancements, upgrades, bug fixes for the Loan IQ Application in both EMEA and North America.  Loan IQ application support responsibilities include partnering with the business community to gather requirements and develop concrete action plans to realize solutions.

Loan IQ application support includes the analysis and support of Code Table changes to effect application changes in support of business processing rule, support of ad-hoc user queries, and providing out of hours support for the testing of upgrades, disaster recovery, etc.  Loan IQ application support also includes supporting operational reporting from the Loan IQ which is currently produced through Oracle Discoverer, SQL queries, and MS Excel.  This encompasses running daily/monthly reports, maintaining and developing reports, and liaison with technical staff to effect changes to underlying data views.  Loan IQ application support also includes involvement in special projects through the entire system development life cycle.  This includes working with Project team to gather business requirements, coordinating change management requests, and supporting testing with other business application support teams and end users.

EXPERIENCE:  BS or equivalent in system technology or equivalent work experience.  Experience managing technical staff.  8+ years experience support commercial lending applications.  5 years of project management experience.  Knowledge of PL/SQL a plus.

SKILLS:  Knowledge of Loan IQ preferred.  Knowledge of Financial Services Industry a plus.  Excellent oral & written communication skills.  Position may require occasional travel (less than 10%).
