To source new business opportunities and prospective clients for wealth management, Calibre family office, trust and charitable teams with above-the-lens households, individuals and selected institutions/businesses. Also, to direct other non-Wealth opportunities to the appropriate service delivery channel. New business/client acquisition, with the remainder spent on expansion and retention of existing high-profile relationships. Effectively network with Wealth teams, centers of influence, brokerage partners and other in company partners to maximize new business sourcing opportunities. Understand the key features and benefits of the full array of Wealth services (including personal trust and fiduciary services, financial planning, investment solutions, credit and deposit services, etc.), and effectively discuss these features and benefits with prospects and clients. Maintain a target list of prospects, including call strategies for high-opportunity prospects. Conduct 10-12 high-impact calls per month in targeted market or segment, using focused pre-call planning. When needed, design customized presentation materials or pitchbooks. Ask appropriate questions, listen effectively, and derive a profile of prospect and their possible financial needs. Diagnose appropriate service channel and warm-transfer/deliver the prospect to that channel (Wealth team, Calibre, community banking, Private Advisory Group, etc.). Motivate prospects to become current or future clients of Wachovia Wealth Management, involving local market leaders where appropriate. Build and maintain effective partnerships with Relationship Managers, Regional Director's team specialists and line of business partners (Private Advisory Group, commercial, community bankers, etc.). Actively participate in WCP. Stay abreast of changes to laws or regulations in the investment, trust and banking arenas that may affect clients (i.e., personal trust law, tax law, privacy laws, Patriot Act). Maintain a focus on maximizing revenue growth while keeping a desire to do the right thing for the client.

Minimum 10 years of success in selling in the financial services industry including hedge funds or private equity. Will consider business development or sales professionals in medical, accounting or legal segments; preferably to high net worth clients. Knowledge of broad array of Wealth solutions, including personal trust and fiduciary services, credit and deposit services, estate planning, financial planning and insurance.Strong self-starter with effective networking and prospecting skills. Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Preferred: CFP, CTFS, JD, MBA or CFA.
