Job Description:	Position:                                 Senior Audit Manager   Grade/Corporate Title:        Vice President   Department:                          Audit   Location:                                 NYC  Description:               Group Audit:  Audit Department is composed of over 400 professionals located throughout the bank's international and domestic offices.  In the Americas, the group is led by the Business Partner, who has both regional and product audit responsibilities.  Group Audit is responsible for evaluating company operating controls, systems and procedures, with recommendations often reducing the bank's exposure to loss.   Applications Audit Group: The Applications Audit Group is part of the Technology Audit function.  This group performs regional and global audits of systems that support the various business silos.  The primary objectives are to ensure adequacy of controls over software regarding security, integrity and confidentiality of data.  The Applications Audit Group coordinates its planning and work with the Operations Audit teams when performing integrated and pre-implementation audits.   Responsibilities ·         Formulating a comprehensive audit plan through risk identification processes. ·         Preparing the annual budget and communicating chargeable hours to senior management. ·         Ensuring the timely execution of the annual plan. ·         Reviewing workpapers to ensure that work has been performed in accordance with departmental standards and adequately supports the conclusions reached in the report. ·         Attending key meetings during audits, particularly when significant issues are discussed. ·         Finalizing the technology issues in the audit report. ·         Communicating key issues to senior business line and technology management. ·         Liaising with senior business line and technology management for the purpose of analyzing business trends which assist in refinement of the annual audit plan. ·         Coordinating with external auditors and regulators. ·         Supporting recruiting and staff development efforts. ·         Participating in bankwide technology committees and projects.   Qualifications/Skills Education/Qualifications (includes work Experience Required/Education Desired): ·         8+ years in the technology audit profession. ·         Demonstrated ability in managing a team of audit professionals to achieve on time completion of the annual plan. ·         Exposure to banking, financial institutions and/or securities firms. ·         Prior performance of integrated and pre-implementation audits. ·         Understanding of control, risk and auditing concepts. ·         Knowledge of specific technologies: ·         UNIX / Windows NT ·         Sybase/MS SQL/Oracle ·         Client/Server architectures ·         Keep current with applicable regional regulations / industry best practices and ensure appropriate coverage in audits. ·         Ability to work both independently and as part of a global team. ·         Communication, presentation, writing and negotiation skills. ·         Ability to handle multiple, concurrent projects. ·         Proficient in PC applications. ·         CISA/CISSP/MBA preferred, not required.
