Senior Java Developer - IMD Jersey City Base 112 or so plus bonus

>

Looking for individual who will be responsible for designing and developing a service oriented architecture using Java Platform.

>

> Specific Responsibilities

> * Design, Develop, implement and maintain services that will be used by applications within IMD division.

> * Participate in the technical direction of the system.

> * Understand requirements and communicate them efficiently.

> * Review the work of other team members and be a mentor for junior team members.

> * Working closely with team members in NY and India

> * Interface with various IT teams and business end users.

>

> Essential Requirements

> * Minimum 5 or more years of experience including design, development, implementation and maintenance of projects using Java, J2EE, Servlet, JSP, EJB and other related technologies.

> * Experience with Weblogic.

> * Good knowledge of RDBMS / SQL

> * Good knowledge of Webservices and SOAP implementation

> * Knowledge of Design patterns is required

> * Working knowledge XML, XSL, XML Schema, X-Path, X-Query etc

> * Knowledge of Unix/Linux, CVS, ANT building tools etc

> * Team player and proven ability to work under pressure and meet project dates.

> * Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with others.

> * Knowledge of messaging (TIBCO, MQ Series, JMS) is a plus

> * Financial business knowledge is a plus.
