The mission of the Investment Management Technology Group is to provide and support the software applications and systems that build on and enhance the capabilities of the Investment Management Division to provide superior performance returns and responsiveness to our clients by delivering comprehensive investment management products while reducing risk and eliminating inefficiency.

We are looking for a senior IT manager to partner with the Absolute Returns Strategy business team to define and execute IT strategy and architecture plans for the private Fund of Funds (hedge funds) Investment Management Group with over ($) assets under management.

Key Responsibilities:

* Liaise with investment, client service and back office professionals to select off the shelf software or design proprietary analytics to support investor reporting, risk management, due diligence, performance attribution, benchmarking and portfolio management business processes.

* Lead IT team in project implementation to support various business needs of organization, including a due diligence CRM, a business intelligence reporting platform, replacement of the legacy portfolio management and accounting systems, and development of custom Investment Management Analytics and Risk Management intranet platform.

* Responsible for information security, business continuity, disaster recovery, and compliance for all systems.

* Manage IT projects and budgets (planning, development, change management, quality assurance, hardware and software acquisition and evaluation).

Requirements:

* Previous industry experience in the hedge fund, fund of funds, investment management or prime brokerage business and technology areas

* Global understanding of the Hedge funds business

* Strong project management and governance background

* Excellent communication, staff management and development/leadership skills (will manage staff of about 6 people currently at location in NY/NJ as well as India)
