Senior Developer

Location NY - New York City

The candidate should have sharp technical skills, well spoken, like to
document things but not a novel writer.

The candidate should have very strong background in design and
development of distributed and web-based systems using Microsoft
software development platform: .Net framework (1.1/2.0), C#, ASP.Net,
SQL Server 2000/2005, XML, XSLT, Java Script and DHTML.

The candidate should be familiar with Ajax technology and have exposure
to MS Sharepoint exposure. <<<<<<<<<<

The candidate is expected to be an analytical type of a person and
should have an ability to quickly grasp on business requirements and
translate them into technical solutions.

They expect candidate to be able to model relational databases, develop
back end interfaces and be involved in the data optimization processes.

They also appreciate if the candidate is an enthusiastic person who has
a wide range of interests such as sports, music, dancing ...etc.

They require at least BS in Computer Science or related major.

Desired Education, Experience, Skills:

They would expect candidate to understand SDLC Project Management model
and adhere to company's processes and procedures.

Experience in the Financial or Banking industry, Engineering and
Deployment experience in IIS environment, Solid MS Visio/Project skills.

Design Pattern and Rational Unified Process exposure is a plus.

Experience with Content Management Systems is a plus.

Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for rapid development and technical analysis of their Retail
Web Applications for International Mutual Funds Business.
The candidate will be involved in each stage of the project lifecycle of
web applications, back end interfaces and framework components.

The candidate will participate in technical design, architecture,
technology research and upgrades. The successful candidate will join a
team of senior developers with primary responsibility for technical
design and development efforts in a highly dynamic and demanding
environment.

Degree/Major Preferred: Bachelor's degree/Computer Science or
Engineering

Notes Sharepoint experience, AJAX, .NET 2.0, SQL 2005 a plus. .

Comp Information

Estimated Minimum Base Salary 80,000.00
Estimated Maximum Base Salary 105,000.00
