The Business Analyst will be responsible for the following: Drive the implementation of management reporting and business intelligence capabilities to support a mortgage loan origination business; Analyze reporting tools and assist in implementation of reporting tools; Write requirements for new reports as well as changes to support reporting requirements; Will work with users to design/implement new reports and maintain existing reports; Document report requests and report release notes. Work with QA tams and users to test reports; Map existing process inputs to source data inputs; Design, develop, validate, unit test, and support requested reports utilizing IBM's preferred reporting solutions/tools; Designing supporting report queries, validating the accuracy of the reports, and responding to ad-hoc report requests from CRM users or stakeholders. Skills and education: Major Field of Study: Preferably mathematics, computer science. Strong analytical and organizational skills; 2-3 years of experience in Mortgage Industry reporting is required; Experience with reporting tools (e.g., MS Access, Excel, Crystal reports); Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
2-3 yrs of experience in Mortgage Industry reporting is required. 5+ yrs of total experience performing financial, operational, statistical. Experience with reverse engineering processes, mapping source data inputs, modifications and recommending a streamlined process. Extensive experience working with MS Access queries, macros and advanced Excel.
Candidate Must Have :
* 2/3 years of Mortgage reporting is required

* Expert in access, excel, and crystal reports
