Job Description:	6 month assignment - will pay   cisco mid level engineer -   Responsibilities: 1.      Performs data communications functions related to the brokers and members firms Diagnoses problems using network tools, recommends solutions and coordinates repair efforts develops procedures to support daily operations Monitors the network activities and take preventive actions if necessary Interfaces with vendors with to resolve network-related problems Performed traffic measurement, path testing to establish the baseline Evaluates new technology and services to meet the business needs Ensures installed network is operating efficiently and effectively Performs in-depth analysis and design of  network architectures Effectively identify and communicate the RISK of any network related implementations Works with the Information Security Engineers to enforce the Corporate Security Policy Provide on-call support during off-hours on a rotation basis Incumbent may perform additional tasks and/ or special projects as directed by management       Qualifications:   Education: Bachelor of science degree in computer science, MIS or equivalent Experience: 5 years experience in the Data Communication field including multiple routing protocols ( EIGRP, BGP or RIP ) and large network design  OSPF   Special Equipment Knowledge: Cisco routers and switches Skills: Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and OSI model Qualities: Demonstrated analytic, written and oral communication
