Specific Job Description: Member MCCC engineering is a Mobile Consolidated Command Center spanning most attributes of a C4ISR system of systems. Candidate will perform requirements analysis and architectural design and manage requirements in the DOORS application. Candidate will perform or oversee design, verification, and installation activities. Candidate will manage projects from inception through delivery.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Candidate must understand LM IS&S standard Systems Engineering methodology and possess strong Systems Engineering skills, requirements development and analysis skills. Candidate should display the ability to work with various teams throughout the development life cycle. Candidate should be able to take on and delegate many different tasks at once and follow each to completion. Candidate should possess strong engineering background and communication skill, and Project management skills. Candidate should possess sound engineering judgment and ability to work independently to solve challenging problems. Must be able to generate and implement processes, project plans, and development artifacts to support on-going program technical evolution. Candidate should be comfortable interacting with subcontractors, executive management, and Government customer representatives across a broad spectrum of programmatic and engineering responsibilities. Proven cost account management using earned value practices. Ability to create and justify ROMs, WBS/BOEs, and budget/schedule estimates. Demonstrated familiarity with Risk identification, evaluation, and planning/tracking of mitigation actions. Candidate should have proven leadership ability for a group, mostly subcontractors, capable of process definition and implementation, schedule and budget tracking, metric/data analysis, and improvement identification to gain efficiencies in the engineering process. Candidate must be comfortable presenting engineering issues and defending that position at the MCCC Engineering Review Board.
The candidate should be willing to work non-standard hours and periodic overtime to meet time sensitive milestones. Periodic travel is required to support off-site locations, typically less than 10% annually. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Typical Minimums: Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.

Desired skills: Experience with command centers, specifically mobile C4ISR and MILSATCOM capabilities. Systems Architecture and DOORS knowledge/experience. Experience in computer hardware, Multi-Level Security (MLS), terrestrial and SATCOM Communications and Networks. Personnel management and/or IPT Lead experience a plus.
