Job Description:

 

 

 

Sales Manager K-12 for its Interactive Media Group.  This position will report directly to the Vice President of Interactive Media.

                                

Summary:

The Sales Manager has responsibility for assisting and supervising  distributors in selling  Learning League Web-based service to Schools, School Districts and larger opportunities.  This is a position for a self-starter who is comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast paced environment.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Follows through on opportunity leads provided by trade shows and advertising campaigns
  • In conjunction with the Distributors, develops and sets specific and measurable sales targets on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Develops and executes sales programs to achieve revenue objectives
  • Responsible for awareness of sales cycles, adoption cycles and competitive products
  • Maintains positive client relationships with current client base
  • Listens to customer feedback on existing product and provides feedback to product development group for new product concept and design
  • Responsible for regularly communicating with the distributors and keeping them up to date on current practices and strategies
  • Attends and participates in assigned workshops and conferences to build awareness for service and develop new leads.
  • Proficiency with applications that run across the Worldwide Web is a prerequisite.

 

                                                                         

Requirements:

  • Three years experience in K-12 sales
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Startup experience is a plus
  • Verbal and written communication, interpersonal, customer service, prioritization, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Strong sales aptitude and demonstrated successful sales experience
  • Proven "win-win" customer satisfaction and problem resolution experience in challenging situations
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
