Job Description:	Title: Application Developer                 Reports to: VP - Sr Business Analyst                 Work Location: Stamford, CT                 Responsibilities / Accountabilities:                         Support the existing applications and developing  new ones for the oil department of a commodities trading firm. Responsibilities include interfacing w/ user base, application development, testing, global deployment and support.                         Skills / Competencies:                         Good verbal and written communication skills, ability to work both independently and with a team. Requires basic organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Strong full life cycle development experience is desired. Proficiency in .NET C#, Java, SQL, XML SOAP and OOD. Knowledge of financial instruments required.                         Degrees / Experience:                         B.A. or equivalent degree                         WISH LIST: Minimum 2-3 years solid experience developing in .NET C# and Java.                         Minimum 3-6 years experience in relational database design and implementation. MS SQLServer and Oracle knowledge preferred.                         Minimum 2-3 years experience in financial industry, preferably in a commodities trading firm WILL TAKE: STRONG C# WITH RELATIONAL DATABASE DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE COMING FROM OIL INDUSTRY ,
