Project Description
Wealth Management Report (WMR) is the consolidation of brokerage and individual brokerage account management information. The project goal is to create single view reports, consolidating multiple accounts and assets for the purpose of reporting data and portfolio performance accurately to our clients.  The candidate must be able to manage multiple project initiatives aimed at achieving this goal.

The candidate must be a leader in Quality Assurance, providing clear testing scope and objectives for each initiative.   The candidate must be able to meet challenging deadlines while implementing “best practices” throughout the development life cycle. 

 

Responsibilities:

• Create test plans for assigned projects and applications.
• Develop test cases based on business requirements, functional and technical specifications, and development standards for assigned projects/applications.
• Build SQL queries to validate data
• Maintain existing test plans and test cases based on code changes and enhancements to assigned applications
• Validate complex performance calculations
• Perform Regression Test planning and execution
• Track issues and work with project managers and developers to resolve.
• Create and send issue reports to project team and management during test cycles.
• Contribute in the development  of knowledge transfer documentation

Required Skills:

• Strong communication and follow up skills (verbal/written).
• Ability to decipher requirements and  test scope when documentation is unavailable
• Work independently.  Attention to details.
• Hard working, self motivated, and assertive
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to create screen designs/mock-ups, and report definitions
• Skills in Microsoft Office, ability to create documentation and presentations, develop spreadsheets
• Extensive SQL background
• Visio and MS Project Skills
• SDLC

Business Experience & Education:

• BA/BS Required
• 1-3 years QA/IT experience in the financial industry
• 1-3 years QA experience with portfolio accounting applications.
• QA/QC certification a plus (from PMI, QAI, IIST or other organization)
