Energetic, aggressive, technical sales professional in the Northern California area. Sales managers are responsible for the identification of leads within target markets. Sales managers are also responsible for developing strategies to grow sales and maximize market coverage. Specific responsibilities include:

- Expand existing relationships to maximize sales while exploring additional cross-selling opportunities
- Identify target account list within defined market segments
- Call on national accounts and architect and engineering firms to build awareness for company products, establish high-level relationships, and propose and close equipment and service sales.
- Identify and develop strategic accounts and other channel partners (e.g., energy service providers, equipment OEMs, deregulated utilities) for resale of products.
- Provide customer feedback to the applications group to be incorporated into product offerings

The incumbent should have a minimum of 5-10 years successful direct sales experience with highly technical products- preferably in on-site power generation. Strong presentation skills are required. Successful record of sales to national accounts strongly preferred. "C-level" sales experience also strongly preferred.

Candidate Must Have :
* Bachelor's degree (engineering/technical major preferred)
* 5+ years direct sales experience with technical product

Office space provided in San Leandro.
75% travel in the Northern CA region.
