Program Analyst Marion, IL $65000 - $80000

Salary Range - $65,000 - $80,000

Basic Relocation to Marion ILLINOIS

 

 

The position is responsible for planning, programming, analyzing, testing, and implementing software.  Software includes both purchased and internal custom-designed software programs and packages used in the processing of current business application systems.  This position assumes primary responsibility for maintenance and enhancement of selected system applications.  Responsibilities include learning new programming languages or purchased packages; understanding user requirements; creating programs, input forms, and reports; problem-solving; trouble shooting; conducting training; and writing policies and procedures.  The scope of the project and level of Programmer Analyst understanding determines the degree of project autonomy and authority.  All tasks must be completed in conformance with corporate, divisional, and operational policies and procedures and within government guidelines.

 

Major       Competencies/Skills:

 

Self motivated, well-organized, goal oriented, excellent communication skills, knowledgeable in financial and manufacturing practices 

 

Training in software including SQL Server, Microsoft web technologies, and Office 97.

 

              Education and/or Experience: 

B.S. in computer science of related field preferred

 

2+ years of programming or systems analysis in a manufacturing environment preferred
