Systems Analyst – Search Engine Technology

$100K Base - maybe a little more, Plus Bonus…

 

Experience

 

-          At least 5 years experience in the role of systems analyst

-          Experience in developing technical specification documents using a SDLC methodology for Web applications.

-          Experience in using modeling tools such as Rational Rose, Togethersoft, ERWin etc. to develop technical functional requirements 

-          Experience in the full project life cycle from requirements gathering through production implementation for a large scale web application.

-          Proven ability to work in a demanding fast paced team environment with business users and application developers.

 

Skills

 

-          Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

-          Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

-          Ability to organize and run effective meetings  

-          Strong knowledge of object technologies, UML and data modeling tools and techniques

-          Strong working knowledge of current Web methodologies for developing projects.

-          Ability to work on multiple tasks in a team environment.

-          Working knowledge of Java / HTML / JavaScript / Relational DB technologies

-          Working knowledge of SQL (Oracle )

-          Working knowledge of common testing methodologies and tools such as Winrunner, Loadrunner etc.. 

-          Strong MS Office and Visio skills

 

 

 

Essential Job Functions:

-          Develop technical specifications documents from business requirements

-          Work with business users to clarify requirements and resolve functionality, usability   issues

-          Work with applications developers to create working applications that match business vision.

-          Work with application architect to insure technical solution matches business requirements  

-          Work with project manager to develop project timelines, deliverables and scope documents

-          Work with QA to insure test plan and scripts match the business requirements  documents 

-          Work with 3 party software providers to insure the requirements are met

-          Develop UML and data models as needed to fulfill requirements document.

-          Assist in the development of a repeatable methodology

-          Maintain a proactive requirements change management process

-          Develop status report etc. as required    

-          Assist in the execution of test plans and help resolve functionality issues etc..
