We are seeking a motivated programmer to join a team that is implementing a high-performance, highly-scalable web application. This person should enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, be willing to assume responsibility for tasks from start until completion, and have a track record of focusing on high quality. This position affords the opportunity to work with modern techniques and the latest Microsoft SQL Server and Data Warehousing technologies.

Responsibilities:
As a member of the team, participate in all meetings, including planning, daily status, and review. Define, commit to and complete the database work necessary to achieve sprint goals. Apply development skills to complete tasks. Work will include design, coding of automated unit tests, development of T-SQL, integration testing and other work that may be necessary to help the team achieve each sprint goal. Interact with business units, project managers, engineering managers, and leads to determine reporting needs
Create custom reports on an ad hoc basis. Diagnose and solve problems based on changing user requirements. Pitch in where and when necessary to help the team achieve its goals. This may require collaboration with others on design, development, testing, documentation and/or production support tasks. Adhere to team and department practices and guidelines. Constant communication and collaboration with other team members Provide strong input to the Software Architect and the Database/Warehouse architect for design of the system

Skills and Qualifications:
The following are the minimum requirements for consideration.
Excellent command on SQL language.
Verifiable experience with SQL 2000/ SQL Server 2005.
Experience with DTS/SSIS
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast- paced, constantly changing work environment.
History of creative problem solving.
A continuous learner, always finding and sharing new knowledge.
A major fascination with detail and exactitude.
Strong commitment to quality.
To enhance your candidacy, you should also have:
SQL Server Reporting Services
SQL Server Analysis Services
MySQL.
Oracle.
Some ETL experience.
Basic HTML/DHTML and JavaScript.
Experience as a team member for multiple iterations on an Agile project. Experience with Extreme Programming or Scrum preferred.
