Applications Support Manager with experience in the following areas. Core business applications including: Peoplesoft 8.9, Solomon GL, PDS, Altec and Atex Enterprise. As a publishing company there are applications that run on a variety of web platforms that require support as well. The manager will be able to interact with internal customers and staff to provide timely solutions and support the daily business and production cycle.

Responsibilities include:
· Manage a staff of Application Administrators as well as consultants for production support and administration, and maintenance of core corporate functions as well as published websites.
· Evaluate staff performance, goal setting and career development
· Planning, Organizing, Coaching, Directing and Monitoring staff and processes
· Develop, adhere and enforce strict change control policies in regard system support
· Incident management and coordination of cross departmental resources for problem resolution
· Establish documentation and follow-up meetings with internal business customers.
· Build reports based on issue tracking for applications as a guide for decision making and upgrade path
· Develop and maintain test plans for proper software updates and promotion

Qualifications:
5-10 years IT Support Experience
3-5 Years IT management experience
Good Working of knowledge of ITIL and best practice for IT Support
Able to work with Operations and Development individuals and management
Detail and process oriented
Excellent Communication Skills (both verbal and written)
