Job Description:	Developer Manager     This client is a leading international provider of high quality data, expert insight, and productivity solutions to Investment Banks and Corporate clients.     This client has offices in the United States, United Kingdom, and India. Job Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to: ·         Technical leadership of several key commercial product offerings ·         Managing technical team leaders ·         Mentoring and leadership over high performing engineering staff ·         Partnering with business managers and analysts to deliver transactional solutions to tier 1 global brokerage houses ·         Bring best practice expertise and prescriptive guidance to local and remote development efforts ·         Manage risk and realize commercial opportunity at all stages in the design/delivery process.   Skills Required: ·         7+ years of experience in the technology or financial services industry Experience managing full life-cycle software development projects a must. ·         3+ years of management experience ·        Candidate should have exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as excellent listening skills. Must be able to work independently yet be a strong team player/ leader. Must be able to communicate effectively with C-level executives internally and externally. ·         BA/ BS degree or equivalent work experience in related field required. Proficient in requirement gathering, specifically in functional requirements and use cases.   Financial services industry experience a benefit.  Experience working with enterprise, mission critical transactional applications a requirement. Microsoft (.Net) background preferred but not required Demonstrated ability to manage technical teams of 10-40. Expertise in all areas of technical design and delivery including object modeling, framework creation, quality processes, load testing and secure practices a requirement     This client offers a long term career opportunity in a high-energy, results oriented environment.
