Job Description:	Title: Business & Financial Analyst   Company Description: Majestic Research is a unique, data-driven equity research firm providing investment research and analysis to hedge funds and mutual funds. Majestic covers 9 industry sectors and we use unique data from 20+ third parties in our investment research to help predict performance metrics for the stocks we cover like same store sales, average selling price, and revenue. Majestic is a highly entrepreneurial company and wants to attract people who want to work for a fast-growing, next generation research firm. Role: This is an ideal position for a student interested in working for a wall street research firm serving hedge funds and mutual funds. The Business & Financial Analyst will work as part of the finance and operations team at Majestic helping to prepare monthly reporting packages that enable the company to track financial and business metrics including revenue, bookings, sales person productivity, and renewal rates. The ideal candidate will be someone highly analytical who is very comfortable manipulating numbers in Excel and Access and turning these numbers into user friendly management reports and presentations. Key skills needed include: Very proficient with Microsoft Excel. Understanding of Microsoft Access is a plus. Ability to generate reports and pivot tables using excel in a way that enables the company to analyze and track trends over time.   Basic understanding of accounting is a plus as well as an abilility to analyze and present data in a user friendly way.
