A global financial institution is seeking a Senior .Net Developer.
Responsibilities:
* Performs analysis of software requirements
* Develops software based on specifications provided
* Performs software testing to identify software defects in code and documentation
* Writes and executes test plans and scripts
* Ensures that quality practices are adhered to using the Capability Maturity Model
* Willingness to provide on-call availability beyond normal working hours as needed
Business Skills:
* Hedge Funds Accounting a strong plus but will accept Financial Services experience
* 5-10 Years experience developing Client/Server and Web applications
* 5+ Years experience with several of the following technologies: C#, VB.NET, VB, IIS, MTS/COM+, ASP
* Must have working knowledge of SQL Server 2000 and 2005, HTML, DHTML
* Knowledge of the Securities Industry a plus (specifically Hedge Funds Accounting)
* Experience with Application Architecture Design and offsite development groups is a plus
* Self starter who takes ownership of projects, some lead development experience
* Some interest in taking on some Project Management tasks in the future
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
