Surgical Field Sales Training Manager, Capital Equipment - (US-NY-Rochester)

To provide coaching, training and on-going support of training initiatives for the Surgical Field Sales organization within the Americas Region.

* Provide on-going field training and coaching for all cataract and vitreoretinal equipment sales employees.

* Provide written feedback to respective Regional Business Directors and the Director of Sales Training based on co-travel activities with sales employees.

* Assist in the planning and implementation of sales training programs at all training events (HQ, Field, and specified meetings)

* Facilitate needs assessments on an on-going basis.

* Assist in continuous improvement/refinement of all sales materials utilized in the field and at training sessions.

* Work cross functionally with Marketing and Sales Management as it pertains to development of product sales aids.

* Support equipment sales employees in specified geographic areas or as assigned by the Director of Sales Training.

Qualifications:
BA/BS Required - MBA Preferred
Experience: 5+ years sales experience (preferably medical sales in devices, pharmaceutical or technology). Previous field sales training experience is preferred. Business Acumen � knowledge of general business principles is beneficial.
Special Skills: Computer skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, coaching, organizational and interpersonal skills required. Ability to provide meaningful performance feedback.
