Work as part of a multi-discipline team as a front-end developer. The system uses a Java-based front-end, communicating via XML with a Windows application layer. Design, develop, test and deploy robust client facing applications in a web-based environment. Primary platform is Java and candidate must have knowledge of integrating systems including C++ analytics, XML, HTTP and SQL. The candidate should be currently working on a Windows platform, but have experience with mixed environments. The position may require interaction with end users, both while gathering specs and giving support. This is a senior development role and as such the candidate will be required to work without direct supervision while still adhering to agreed upon project specifications and timelines. The candidate is expected to participate in functional and design meetings and reviews.
