The Project Superintendent is responsible for the supervision, organization, planning and scheduling of the physical execution of the work and the leadership and management of the field forces. The superintendent directs the work all subcontractors including the coordination of schedules, performance evaluation and assessment of project's progress and its ability to achieve milestone dates. In addition, the Project Superintendent is responsible for maintaining professional and productive relationships with the subcontractors and field personnel, staff and executives, as well as the Owner and the Architect.
Special/Unique Qualifications:
Must have 5 to 10 years as a construction site foreman and a complete knowledge of building components and systems. Experience in mid-rise and high-rise urban infill project desirable. Must possess a working knowledge of computer systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and preferably Prolog Manager and Suretrack scheduling software. Must be able to read blueprints and schedules and have good interpersonal and communication skills
