Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: providing concept through DD estimates, prepare GMPs.. The successful candidate must have advanced knowledge of Excel and Word a good working knowledge of Project scheduling software.

Ability to work cooperatively with Architects, Engineers, and owners in the pre-construction phase of projects. Assist in the coordination and monitoring of design by providing input to the design/build team in matters affecting costs, editing final working drawings and specifications for conformance with estimate and contract, and pointing out inconsistencies between the documents and the budget. Perform material take-offs, review bids, assist in the preparation of all scope sheets for potential bidders, etc.. Assist in establishing and maintaining accurate unit costs based on Company historical data and other costs factors.

Minimum of 5+ years estimating experience and a Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, or business related field. Field experience a plus. This individual must be familiar with construction estimating procedures, a self starter, and able to function in a fast paced multifaceted environment. A strong preference will be given for multi-family construction experience. This will be a great long term position for the right qualified individual.
