The Senior Financial Engineer will play a lead role in the advancement of application as well as the development of new products. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to, developing pricing models and risk management tools for exotic financial derivatives. The candidate will contribute to the advancement product play a key role in developing the independent valuation service. This position will afford the opportunity to grow and shape a new business line with promising revenue projections.
Required Experience
A good candidate would possess the following:
7+ years of professional experience developing models to price financial derivative instruments
Strong programming skills in C++ or C# or Java
Strong programming skills in Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with Applied Mathematics techniques such as matrix algebra, Taylor Series approximations, Newton-Raphson methods, etc.
Preferred expertise in Fixed Income, Credit, FX or Commodity derivatives including exotics
Preferred Master or Doctorate degree in Quantitative Discipline such as Mathematics, Physics or Financial Engineering
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be organized and disciplined
