Responsible for the system-level security design of military communications products and systems. In this position you will be expected to: 
· Work with customers to understand program requirements 
· Analyze program requirements (functional, security, electrical, software) to determine required security architecture and high-level design 

· Work with detailed design team to refine the design approach consistent with acceptable security practices and program cost and schedule constraints 

· Design products and systems that meet NSA and other certification and accreditation requirements 

End products may range from large communications systems to individual circuit card assemblies or custom integrated circuits. 


Qualifications: 

Bachelors Degree required with a minimum of 15 years experience or 
Masters Degree with a minimum of 12 years experience 

Minimum of 10 years experience in one or more of the following areas is required 
· Type 1 Communications Security (COMSEC) design 
· Type 1 NSA certification process 
· Type 1 key management 
· Design of NSA-certified communications security products 


Training or experience in one or more of the following areas is required 

· Fielded Type 1 cryptographic products (e.g., KY-99, HAIPE devices) 

· System-level Information Assurance (IA) 
· TEMPEST 
· Encryption 
· Key management 
· HAIPE specs, EKMS, DS-101/102, Link 16, Link 11 
· Tactical military radios (e.g., SINCGARS, EPLRS, JTRS) 
· Computer security 
· System modeling 
· Firmware design 

This position requires an active secret level security clearance
