Description:    Key Skills:

Mandatory Skills* 
"• BS or MS in Computer Science, or Computer Engineering or acceptable combination of equivalent post secondary education and experience will be considered 
• 5+ yrs in Telecommunications or related engineering (10+ yrs overall). 
• 2+ years of applicable work experience with NCS, or IMS voice switch platforms 
• Has advanced industry technical knowledge (Cable / Telecom / Voice Telephony Engineering) 
• Expert in Regulatory compliance with all CODE and numbering management practices 
• Participates in or aware of the standards and work done by the regulatory bodies in their areas of expertise - i.e. WICT, Cable Labs 
• Has attained advanced industry-standard certifications in the area of specified engineering specialty" 



Technical Skills Required 
"o Knowledge of SS7 call routing to include ISUP, TCAP, and CLASS 
o Knowledge of TN and CODE engineering, numbering technologies. 
o Understanding of one or more of the following - NCS and IMS nodes, SIP and TDM connectivity. 
o Understanding of business class and wholesale product offerings for Voice Telephony." 



Preferred Skills 
"• Master’s, or working on Master’s, is preferred 
• Management training and advanced industry certifications also preferred" 



Job Roles/Responsibilities* 
"• Manage all of Client’s TN inventories to support Point of Sale for Residential, Business, and Commercial Class suite of products 
o Effective and timely submission and or return of code and thousands blocks through industry standards systems, including NAS, PAS, and BIRDS 
o Order pooled blocks or new code TN inventory to support market rate center expansion 
o Work with new product development teams and provide requirement that relate to TN management 
o Interface with Business Services teams to establish order management processes and resolve issues related to numbering 
o Reconcile all TN inventory discrepancies between internal billing systems and internal reporting databases 
• Maintain regulatory compliance with all TN inventories management practices 
• Tier III support for division and business sales teams 
• Manage Client SS7 network 
o Maintain an intermediate to advanced knowledge of SS7 routing, architecture, capacity, and link set up 
o Implement changes in network design and complete capacity augments as needed 
• Design and build various reports to support business needs" 

Qualificaiton BE Electronics / Telecommunications / Computer Science Or Electrical Engineering 

Travel Intermittent up to 25%
