Description:    Technical Data Analyst (NY) 3-5 years experience

· Technical Business Data Analyst required to lead and manage all efforts to set up and configure financial market data for OTC brokerage firm 
· Financial Capital markets experience required and knowledge of FX and Interest Rate Derivatives is a must 
· Will work with developers and other technical teams to setup market data on trading platforms and systems 
· Will liaise and work directly with business clients/end-users to gather data requirements and coordinate User Acceptance Testing 
· Responsible for checking data integrity and ensuring that all business rules are applied. 
· Intermediate/advanced SQL skills or experience using Microsoft SQL Server 
· Knowledge in systems and/or application development and requirements analysis; 
· Conceptual thinker, learner, and effective problem solver 
· Comfortable with delivering often complex solutions in tight timeframes 
· Strong client focus/customer service skills and experience directly liaising with end-users 
· Effective project management skills, in particular the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks 
· Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment 
· Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to communicate effectively in business terms with business partners 

· Open to both direct hire or contract 
· Required for 6 months with opportunity for extension 
· Salary 85k – 125K depending on experience
