Description:    The Scrum Master/Project Manager is responsible for supporting the delivery, using Agile / Scrum methodologies, of major technology developments on the front and back-end domains for the Organization’s Salesforce.com CRM project. This is highly impactful work involving our organization-wide data. It is of enterprise scope and includes: project planning, scope management, risk management, change management, budget and resource planning, cost estimation, tracking and issue resolution. Throughout the lifecycle of these projects, the PM is responsible for making appropriate tradeoffs with project teams to mitigate any issues or risks. 

The Scrum Master will contribute Agile/Scrum knowledge to help improve the organization wide processes. The primary project will be run using Agile / Scrum while other projects may require SDLC project management methodologies. The Project Manager reports to the Senior Managing Director, Project Management. 


Qualifications: 

Responsibilities 

· Manage multiple projects, including Salesforce.com Front-End development, using Agile / Scrum. 

· Organize sprint planning, facilitate the sprint review and daily stand ups 

· Own the success of the team's process, support the Product Owner, and communicate status and issues to Stakeholders and PMO, 

· Manages all aspects of the project life cycle, and work with team members to oversee all phases of project completion (using both Agile/Scrum and SDLC methodologies). 

· Rigorously manages scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed upon time, cost, and quality parameters. 

· Develops and maintains cost-conscious project plans that meet organizational objectives and timelines for both technology solutions and business process improvements 

· Identifies key project stakeholders both internally and externally, including vendors, and managing those relationships in support of a comprehensive approach to each project 

· Proactively manages and mitigates issues and risks. 

· Manages organizational resources efficiently - time, people and budget 

· Follows processes and methodology set forth by the PMO 

· Validates financial forecasts and provides on-going reconciliation of resources and other related project expenditures 

· Partners with business sponsors to define success metrics and criteria. 

· Manages and mentors one direct report Project Manager. 

· Serve as a subject-matter expert in Agile/Scrum methodology across the IT team and the organization. 

Competencies 

· Expert level knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile/Scrum development processes with experience on large software projects 

· Knowledge of PMI standards and software development process. 

· Proven technical project management skills with demonstrated, applied experience establishing and delivering complex projects. 

· Experienced in various software estimation techniques and budgeting activities. 

· Experienced in production support, release management, ROI proposals and IT Systems Implementation. 

· Strong team leadership skills 

· Operates effectively, and with a positive attitude, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with High sense of urgency and with ability to drive results. 

· Must be detail-oriented, extremely organized, and have strong presentation skills. 

· Must have the ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision both written and verbally. 

· Risk assessment, negotiation and problem resolution skills. 

· Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders; remove barriers, influence stakeholders and enable teams to complete their objectives. 

· Comfort with ambiguity, frequent change, and unpredictability. 

· Excellent task management, organization, and team collaboration skills. 

· Sound business and technology acumen. 

Number of Years of Project Management Experience 

· 7+ years of demonstrated outcome delivery across different types of high-risk, high-value projects. 

· 3+ years of experience in Agile/Scrum environment as Scrum Master 

· Experience managing Salesforce development using Agile is a required

Additional knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

· Detailed knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Microsoft Project 

· Knowledge of other technology tools for project planning and testing including JIRA 

Academic Qualifications: 

· Bachelor's degree required 

· Agile / Scrum Certification is required (CSM) 

· PMP certification preferred
