| Description: | Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related Sciences/Technology field
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail.
Programming Languages: Perl 5.8 or better. (4+ years) and solid knowledge of Perl DBD packages and object oriented perl programming,
C/C++ a plus
Oracle 10g or better experience (will consider another SQL data base)
Well spoken
60+% of the work is in Perl
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain software in Perl and C/C++ to load source price data and build analytical derived datasets.
Collaborate with developers and client-facing management, understand the content, format, and production requirements for delivery of market data timeseries datasets.
Interact and coordinate with both Database Administration Group and Corporate technology group to facilitate systems administration
Support for development and infrastructure issues escalated by the Operations team.
