Requirements

Minimum of BS in Computer Science or related field.

10 + years of engineering experience, preferably with 5+ years of increasing leadership responsibilities with management of teams from 5 to 15 preferred.

Leadership building out complex web based applications.

Experience delivering high quality cross platform applications using Java, Javascript, modern JavaScript frameworks, HTML 5, and CSS 3.

Background in driving large technical projects from conception to rollout/production.

Experience working in Agile/SCRUM development environments.

Prior experience working in the consumer product space.

Knowledge of cutting edge technologies and toolkits.

Ability to travel from time to time.

 

Responsibilities

Build and lead a high performance team that works in an Agile development environment.

Foster an environment of experimentation and continual improvement.

Use management skills and experience to create a culture of support and motivation.

Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and robust code.

Stay in sync with other development and product teams routinely reviewing specs and roadmaps to assure development cycles stay on time and are of the highest quality.

Work closely with our UI/UX team to deliver high quality user experiences.
