REQUIREMENTS

 

• MS Degree in an agriculture-related science with a minimum of 15 years of proven performance in managing a multidisciplinary team of scientists or a PhD in an agriculture-related science with a minimum of 10+ years proven experience, as well as 5+ years management experience

• Industry and academically recognized technical competence and scientific leadership

• International experience

• Ability to implement the short and long term technical strategies

• Ability to lead the creation of world-class innovative product solutions

• Managerial experience in order to prioritize and allocate research and development resources, establish department policies, and to identify and deploy the research team

• Ability to lead, coach and motivate highly technical personnel

• Experience in Business/Marketing is desirable

• Fluent in English.

 

Responsibilities

 

• Steer global projects from idea through to market in the shortest time

• Ensure the fastest time to market of new products by assuring the accuracy and timeliness of research data, product assessments and project management tools

• Administer the department budget and people resources
