REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

 

Strong project management skills, including the ability to drive and manage projects from conception to completion.

Experience building cross-device user-friendly web interfaces.

A strong portfolio of digital properties

5+ years experience leading the design and development of websites and other interactive experiences.

Bachelor’s degree required, master’s preferred.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the managing the design, development, QA and roll-out of all interactive projects for a marketing team. This includes marketing websites, content marketing sites, mobile applications and other items as needed.

Communicate website strategy, and roadmap

Responsible for coordinating with executive leadership

Responsible to be the internal subject matter expert in the latest digital technologies and strategies.

Evaluate market research, customer trends, and website technological advancements to recommend and champion development initiatives, and new content management tools, to improve the delivery of content and efficiency of website operations.

Coordinate with marketing team members and IT UI/UX team to ensure consistent visual branding and messaging across all interactive media.

Work on the primary market research and industry best practices to guide design and development of marketing websites and mobile experiences.

Be knowledgeable about copy and manage the creation of compelling content that supports the university messaging strategy and drives demand for the school

Responsible for working with the testing team to create user tests that inform and help guide decision making that improve conversion rates.

Manage the testing team to help develop the multivariate testing strategy to continuously improve the effectiveness of our interactive web properties.

Manage multiple projects, budgets, deadlines, and deliver work that drives our business forward.

Responsible for managing downtime challenges and mitigating risk.

Responsible for hiring, firing and development of the web development team. Responsible for scaling up additional resources as needed for bigger development projects.
