5+ years of hands-on delivery/configuration with 2 Full Lifecycle implementations/consulting experience in SAP/MM (Materials Management) (v 4.6+) along with SAP team lead or project management experience. Ideal candidate would also have a successful history of applying structured project management methodologies on projects. The SAP/MM Managing Consultant is responsible for the successful delivery of SAP/MM (Materials Management) module deliverables on SAP Mid-Market engagements, including implementation, upgrades, and/or extensions of existing applications. The consultant assists clients and leads teams in the selection, implementation and support of SAP/MM solutions which include design, configuration, and testing. Consultant will provide SAP/MM functional and business process expertise as well as provide hands-on leadership and direction to the project team, consultants, subcontractors, remote global resources, and client employees. Additionally, will participate in qualifying and pursuing client sales opportunities and may play a lead role in developing the solution, scope, estimates, and development of client proposals as well as may be heavily involved in business case development. looking for in-depth knowledge in the following areas: Strong SAP/MM functional knowledge (version 4.6+) to include 2 Full Lifecycle implentations: Ability apply SAP/MM knowledge to resolve configuration and technical issues; Hands-on experience developing project deliverables using formal/structured methodologies; and Team lead leadership experience on at least one project. Additionally, looking for applied knowledge with the ability to perform tasks with assistance in the following areas: Process definition, analysis, design, and implementation; Ability to conduct business requirements and make subsequent configuration changes; Motivating teams to excel and transferring knowledge to client personnel; Test plan development, scenario, and script development; Medium to large client interaction and process consulting experience; Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. As the majority of our work is perfomed at client sites, 100% travel will be required and candidates must live near major metropolitan airports.
Candidate Must Have :
* 5 years of SAP/MM (Materials Management) v 4.6+
* 2 Full Lifecycle configuration implementations on SAP/MM
* Leadership of a small SAP team on at least 1 project
* Ability to interface with both the client/staff/good interpersonal skills
* Highly prefer someone who has worked in a consulting firm environment
It is expected that newly hired resources live within a reasonable commuting distance (generally 50 miles) of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Detroit, MI; Hartford, CT; Houston, TX; Kansas City, MO; Los Angeles, CA; and Washington, DC.
