Equities Support--NYC BNRJASUPPORT2

If not you, would you know someone???   Seeking highly motivated individual to provide primary support for an inhouse developed equities trading system. Candidate must have at least 2 years working experience in similar field and must possess the following qualities:   . self motivated individual willing to jump in and help out in a situation . intimate knowledge of listed/otc products . excellent communication skills . comfortable working in a high pressure environment . excellent interpersonal skills, team player . prior experience supporting third party trading system such as Brass, Fidessa, REDI, FlexTrade or Lava is a plus. . knowledge of FIX is a plus
Primary Activities	Primary activities include, but are not limited to:
Research order related problems. Trouble shoot, work with development to identify bugs and find workaround or come to resolution. Participate in incident management and resolution. Bug, issue tracking Learn the system in detail and keep abreast of changes to it. Release management of new releases.   Overall doing whatever it takes to insure the business is successful.
Skills (include specific skill levels i.e degree, years of experience, industry experience, leadership)
Highly motivated individual with positive attitude ready to make an impact. At least 2 years supporting cash, algo, pt or otc business at a broker dealer. Understand and be able to explain common industry terms. Windows desktop knowledge.   SQL skills a plus Programming experience a plus. Current or former holder of Series 7 is a plus.
