Description:

 

• Responsible for owning the business requirements and specifications
• Ensure product configuration / functional design is implemented to standards and signed off by appropriate level project participants
• Ensure integration requirements of the application are documented and communicated and implemented.
• Ensure the application will meet the technical and functional requirements and that it functions accurately from the end-user perspective
• Define the test plan, scenarios and coordination of system and UAT testing
• Own the project plan and continue to maintain it’s accuracy, manage all tasks associated with the project
• Coordinate technical efforts with the CTO/Infrastructure team including understanding the architecture, server environments, etc…
• Help manage the relationship between the project manager and the product vendor.
• Assist in the management/relationship with any consultants used for the implementation of this product
• Ensure adherence to the SDLC
• Provide on-going support and enhancements once the application is live

 

 

 

Qualifications:

 

• A minimum of three-five years of successful experience in gathering requirements and supporting a trading system in the financial industry.
• Strong experience with Derivatives: Credit, Muni or  FX trading systems, hedge funds
• Knowledge of Murex is a huge plus
• Knowledge of Calypso or Imagine would be good substitute if candidate has no Murex Experience.
• The ability to develop good relationship with various  groups, technology and business
• Four-year college degree with a business, accounting, or information systems emphasis.
• Must have a high level of personal integrity and credibility, and maintain confidentiality of business information.
• Must be a positive force internally and externally in supporting the Firm.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A self-starter with demonstrated ability to work with multiple groups and managers throughout the Firm.
• Software Engineering Skills, knowledge of SDLC and testing methodologies
