Senior DB Developer-Sybase/Oracle some informatica

.Senior database developer: Work with highly talented algorithmic trading research group on the business side. Design and maintain execution data in Sybase database and high frequency market data in tick data base Vhayu. Transform data from multiple data sources through informatica. Develop and maintain complex analytics based on tick data and execution data. Develop customer reports based on execution and tick analytics.

 

Needs to have very good communication skills. Should be able to work with very little assistance from other people. Needs to be a good team player.

 

Experience:

Over 1-2 years of informatica.

Over 4 years of Sybase/Oracle

Over 4 years of C++/ C#

Experience in maintaining very large high frequency databases is a plus.

Experience in reporting tools such as Crystal reports and Microstrategy is a plus

Experience working in equity domain is a plus.

 

Education:

            B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or related field

 

 

We look for someone who has strong database management and development skill. The most important skill set are:

1, Database development, performance tunning and regular DBA work. The person should be good at database administration, maintenance, configuration and development such as writing stored procedure and trigger etc. Experience working on UNIX is desirable. Database architecture experience is plus.
2, comfortable at coding in C++/C#.

3, Informatica exposure.
The less important is:

Microstrategy, crystal report and financial experience.
