We are a fast-growing start-up web services venture based in New York
City that has developed a patent-pending behavioral modeling engine
that has extensive applicability for e-commerce. Within our first four months, we have signed a leading e-commerce client and have since established an extensive pipeline of several major clients that are interested in using our novel high-performance system based on
preliminary commercial success.

Responsibilities
We have an opening for a first-rate Java / Oracle developer with the
following experience, for a contractor position leading to full-time:
Three+ years of Java experience in an open source environment
Oracle PL/SQL OOP and ORM design principles
Spring or wicket frameworks
CSS/Javascript/XML
Intermediate linux skills
SVN or CVS
Experience analyzing data for robust reporting
Operationally aware, security-minded.
Experience building complex web applications
Statistics or math skills desirable
Good people skills for dealing with clients
Good interpersonal skill for general client interaction and team
interaction.
