Project Manager--Livingston, NJ vicinity

Senior Project Manager $110-120K plus 10% bonus – Livingston, NJ or Manhattan midtown offices

 

PMO certification is not a requirement

 

 

 

Key is project manager who can manage financial software implementations  4-5 projects simultaneously

 

Responsibilities :

 

At least 5 years project management delivery experience to tier 1 organizations, from a financial services background, managing a spread of projects varying in size from different environments. Must have experience in managing the delivery of software packages/third party products. Experience of working in the Payments processing / Reconciliations / Exception Management / SWIFT messaging space is an advantage. Must also be a Business Manager with experience of scoping a portfolio of projects for a team of consultants to deliver in a cost effective and profitable manner. Must have experience of directly managing Consultants. Must have the ability to add value to the project delivery, KPI s, customer satisfaction, presentations and drive forward the delivery at client locations.

 

·        Engage and develop relationships at a senior level

·        To build and manage relationships with all stakeholders.

·        Total responsibility and accountability for projects

·        Responsibility to ensure all project deliverables completed to the agreed scope, schedule, and budget.

·        To act as the primary interface between the customer and client for the project,

·        Ensure the project is managed in accordance with the appropriate Project Management methodology.

·        Define the project scope, resource requirements.

·        Define and gain agreement on project roles and responsibilities.

·        Develop the project plan and actively manage to it.

·        Undertake estimating as required on scope, schedule and resources required.

·        Set up change control processes; manage change to project scope, schedule and resources effectively.

·        Undertake risk identification and assessment.

·        Effective management and escalation of any project issues

 

 

Qualifications:

 

Degree caliber candidate

Minimum of 5 years senior project management experience
